(KRON) – A new Yemeni coffee chain is coming to the East Bay. The City of Hayward is now gaining another new addition. This time Hayward will be home to Sana’a Cafe which says their coffee is “premium and authentic.”
The coffee shop posted on its Instagram, “Stay tuned Hayward location will be opening soon date will be announced soon‼️ Share with your friends and family‼️”
Sana’a Cafe prepares its coffee with authentic Yemeni, from Yemen, spices.
“Yemeni coffee has a rich history, being one of the oldest known coffee varieties globally,” according to the coffee shop’s website. “It’s known for its natural sweetness and a remarkably low acidity level compared to other coffee beans.”
Per Sana’a Cafe’s website, patrons can order an Adeni Chai, which is a blend of black tea, evaporated milk, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and a small amount of sugar. The cafe also offers sweet treats, such as milk cake, baklava, holiday drinks and more.
There has not been a set opening date and the address has not yet been announced.
Sana’a Cafe has six locations, three of which are in the Bay Area: San Francisco, Oakland and San Rafael.
