Authorities are investigating after a decomposing body was found in a hole along the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles early Monday morning.
Preliminary information indicates the body was located next to the 101 at the interchange with Mulholland Drive and Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood Hills around 1:30 a.m.
It appeared to have been found in a hole next to the wall of the freeway.

Investigators were unable to immediately say how long the body was there or what led up to them discovering it.
