What better way to celebrate a world championship than by getting your steps in on a Sunday morning?
That’s what a group of Los Angeles Dodgers fans are doing Sunday, as a hiking group is taking a “victory lap” around the Griffith Park Hiking Trails.
The Dodgers Blue Hiking Crew takes fans of the Boys in Blue on hikes throughout the baseball season, including a massive Opening Day event they did in March.

Thousands upon thousands of Dodgers fans gathered in downtown L.A. for the team’s official parade on Nov. 1, but those who didn’t get enough on that day congregated at Griffith Park to take on a 6.5-mile hike, decked out in that Dodgers blue.
The plan was to take the following trails on a four-hour long hike: Fern Canyon Trail, Upper Beacon Trail, Hogback Trail, Bill Eckert Trail and Mineral Wells Trail.
“I’m very excited,” one fan told KTLA’s Jennifer McGraw. “I’m eager and ready to get this hike on and celebrate our Dodgers win for this year and hopefully the next year to come.”
