As Americans from California to New York head to the polls, restaurants nationwide are rolling out limited-time deals to commemorate the vote.
Anyone who has voted can take advantage of the Election Day promotions, whether they are in the mood for a free donut, discounted coffee, or a free cheeseburger.
The doughnut chain wants to sweeten everyone’s day on Election Day by giving away free Original Glazed doughnuts and “I voted” stickers. Customers can pick up the freebies at participating shops across the U.S. while supplies last.
On Election Day, customers can receive a free shake with any in-store purchase when they mention “Free Shake” at the register. However, the offer isn’t valid on Craig’s Vegan Shakes.
Guests can get a free frozen yogurt at participating Ikea Swedish bistros.
Participating restaurants will offer a $6 discount on Election Day for large and extra-large pizzas. The deal applies to dine-in, carry-out, and delivery orders.
Guests who bring their “I Voted” sticker in-store to participating locations on Election Day can enjoy 15% off their order.
Until Nov. 10, Grubhub customers can score the following deals:
- Starbucks: 30% off a delivery order of $20+ (up to $9 off).
- Wendy’s: Free Baconator with a purchase of $25+.
- KFC: $7 off a $25+ delivery order.
- Shake Shack: Free SmokeShack with a purchase of $25+.
- Arby’s: 25% off an order of $25+ (up to $7 off).
- Little Caesars: Free ExtraMostBestest Pizza with an order of $25+.
Panda Express customers can get a family meal for $30 using the code “FAMFEAST” while ordering online. The family meal comes with two large sides and three large entrees.
Rideshare deals
In addition to food deals, Lyft and Uber will offer discounts on Election Day rides. Lyft is offering 50% discounts (up to $10) on rides from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. in every time zone.
Uber customers who need a ride to a polling location can get discounted rides. Customers can also get 25% off on orders up to $15 off.
For those who prefer to drive, Hertz won’t charge customers for one day when the reserve a car for two or more days. More information can be found here.
Lime, the scooter rental company, is offering riders two free 30-minute trips to help them travel to their nearest polling location on Election Day. Riders can use the deal by entering the code “VOTE2024” on the Lime app.
