(KRON) – The Benicia Police Department is searching for a person who set many fires near Southampton Shopping Center last month.
The arson occurred on Oct. 11 at the Southampton Shopping Center. Benicia PD said the suspect set fire to garbage cans and bushes outside storefronts.
Police are not only unsure of the identity of the arsonist, they are unclear of the person’s gender. The suspect (pictured above) was wearing a black hoodie with a logo, black pants and black shoes at the time of the arson.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the alleged arsonist or their whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Wright at (707) 746-4255.
