(KRON) — The Pacifica Police Department (PPD) arrested a 38-year-old Pacifica man on a $500,000 warrant for 28 counts of felony sexual assaults, including attacks that occurred at “various U.S. National Parks.”
PPD said Jason Crist was arrested at his home on Oct. 30 at 8:30 a.m. and booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City.
Officials said the case dates back to January 2022 and that multiple victims were identified during the investigation.
Pacifica police said some of the assaults happened in Pacifica, while others occurred in various U.S. National Parks.
PPD said it worked together with the U.S. National Parks Police Service and the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office in wrapping up the investigation.
