In the true spirit of Halloween, the Los Angeles Clippers had some players dig into a large bowl of candy corn to see just how many pieces they could pick up in one go.
As it turns out, grabbing candy corn is another thing Kawhi Leonard is exceptionally good at. The two-time NBA Finals MVP scooped up 154 individual pieces at once, which was the most on the team.
“I won?” he asked the camera, and upon confirming his victory, began clapping and even cracked a rare smile. “There it goes…big hands.”
And while he might not make many appearances on the court these days due to injuries, Kawhi’s hands have clearly not shrunk while he was out; his palms are said to measure 9.75 inches long and nearly 12 inches wide.
Coming in second place in the candy corn grabbing competition was center Mo Bamba, who picked up 112. Norman Powell grabbed 105 to round out the top three.
L.A.’s Very Own KTLA is airing 15 Clippers games this season. The next broadcast on KTLA is Monday’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs.
