San Clemente rallied in the fourth quarter to beat Edison 21-17 Friday in an Alpha League game at San Clemente High.
The win put San Clemente (5-5, 1-2) in a three-way tie for second place in the Alpha League with Los Alamitos and Edison (6-4, 1-2). Edison won a coin flip to give the Chargers the second automatic qualifier spot from the league.
Colin Kohl ran for all three touchdowns for San Clemente. The Tritons trailed 10-7 entering the fourth quarter and scored two touchdowns in the final five minutes of the game.
Julius Gillick had a touchdown run for Edison. Sam Thomson threw a touchdown pass to Gavin Slaughter and Carson Schmidt had an interception.

In the Bravo League:
San Juan Hills 42, Tesoro 7: Timmy Herr threw for 300 yards with four touchdowns for San Juan Hills in a dominant win over crosstown rival Tesoro.
Elijah Ayala had two receiving touchdowns and led San Juan Hills (9-1, 5-0) with 60 yards rushing. Luke Frith had 140 yards receiving with a touchdown.
Dean Kolasinski and Jake Vuoso had interceptions for San Juan Hills, which clinched an outright league championship.
Vaughn Steinert threw a touchdown pass to Tanner Silber for Tesoro (3-7, 0-5).
Yorba Linda 21, Corona del Mar 14: Yorba Linda had two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown in a win over Corona del Mar to clinch a third-place finish in the Bravo League.
Isaiah Trujillo and Aiden Gutierrez ran for touchdowns for Yorba Linda (8-2, 3-2). Holden Nagin threw a touchdown pass to Tanner Eilers. Jake Lopez had an interception for the Mustangs.
Brady Annett threw touchdown passes to Breck Clemmer and Garrett James for Corona del Mar (4-6, 1-4).
Villa Park 46, Newport Harbor 21: Nate Lewis had two rushing touchdowns, threw a touchdown pass and made a 52-yard field goal for Villa Park.
Villa Park (7-3, 3-2) led 40-7 at halftime. Finlay Reyes had a rushing touchdown for the Spartans.
Newport Harbor (3-7, 2-3) had two rushing touchdowns.
In the Foxtrot League:
Northwood 22, Dana Hills 7: Northwood clinched a second-place finish in the Foxtrot League with a road win over Dana Hills.
The Timberwolves defense forced a safety in the opening minutes of the game. Gavin Lounsbury had two touchdown passes for Northwood (8-2, 3-2) and the Timberwolves had a rushing touchdown.
Radley Geiss had a touchdown run for Dana Hills (8-2, 3-2).
Laguna Beach 42, Orange 18: Laguna Beach clinched the outright league championship with a win over Orange.
Jake Hurst and Jackson Kollock each threw two touchdown passes for Laguna Beach (9-1, 4-1). Jake Hooper, Wyatt Degner, Brady Stringham and Wyatt Bogdan caught touchdowns for the Breakers.
Stringham and Charlie Hunt had interceptions for Laguna Beach’s defense. Hunt had a kick return touchdown.
Nathan Marquez returned an interception for a touchdown for Orange (2-8, 2-3). Savion Jenkins had a rushing touchdown for the Panthers.
Aliso Niguel 26, Fountain Valley 24: Jarett Sabol had two rushing touchdowns for Aliso Niguel in a win over Fountain Valley.
Carson Etnire returned an interception for a touchdown for Aliso Niguel (7-3, 3-2). Dane Malloy had a touchdown reception for the Wolverines.
Aliso Niguel has head-to-head losses to Northwood and Dana Hills so the Wolverines will apply for an at-large playoff spot.
In the Ironwood League:
Capistrano Valley Christian 42, Heritage Christian 21: Capistrano Valley Christian forced eight turnovers in a win over Heritage Christian of Northridge.
The Eagles (5-5, 2-3) finish fifth place in the league standings and will apply for an at-large playoff spot.
In the Kappa League:
St. Margaret’s 43, Westminster 0: Kai Letcher threw three touchdown passes to Dominic Dalfiume in St. Margaret’s blowout win over Westminster.
The sophomore quarterback had a rushing touchdown for St. Margaret’s (4-6, 2-3). Reece Ballard had a rushing touchdown for the Tartans. Jack Kleinhanzl threw a touchdown pass to Gavin Taylor.
Matt Duma and Andrew Toubin had interceptions for the Tartans.
In the Zeta League:
Century 41, Godinez 7: Century clinched a second-place finish and will play in the playoffs for the first time since 2004.
Daniel Joya threw for 261 yards with three touchdowns for Century (6-4, 2-2). Noe Najera ran for 156 yards on 14 carries.

In the Trinity League:
Santa Margarita 44, Servite 8: John Gazzaniga completed 16 of 21 passes for 185 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for a score, as the Eagles (4-6, 1-4) rolled at Trabuco Hills High for their first league victory.
In helping Santa Margarita improve its chances of receiving an at-large berth for the playoffs, Gazzaniga showed his accuracy for the second consecutive game. The senior also completed 16 of 21 passes (76 percent) in a loss against JSerra in Week 9.
Trent Mosley helped pace the Eagles’ receivers with five catches for 79 yards.
The junior has 160 career receptions, which ranks second in school history behind Brian Finneran (178).
Wide receiver and UCLA commit Jonah Smith (tibia) made his season debut with five catches for 51 yards.
Freshman running back Jaion Smith and wide out Sean Embree caught touchdowns.
Servite (6-4, 1-4) dropped its fourth consecutive game. The Friars are strong contenders for an at-large berth for CIF.
The CIF-SS playoff entries will be released Sunday at 10 a.m.
St. John Bosco 44, JSerra 24: Quarterback Ryan Hopkins scored on a 64-yard run and linebacker Madden Faraimo racked up 20 total tackles as the Lions (6-4, 1-4) fell on the road against the Braves (9-1, 4-1).
It was Hopkins’ third TD run of at least 60 yards this season.
JSerra is a strong candidate to earn an at-large berth for the playoffs.
In the Epsilon League:
La Habra 49, Foothill 14: The host Highlanders (9-1, 5-0) led 42-7 at halftime and raced to the outright league title.
Winners of nine consecutive games, La Habra has not lost since its season opener against Ayala on Aug. 23.
Foothill (5-5, 2-3) played its final regular season game under veteran coach Doug Case, who is retiring after the season.
In the Lambda League:
Kennedy 28, Sunny Hills 20: The Fighting Irish (7-3, 4-1) opened a 28-0 lead in the first half at Western High and held on to secure a share of the league title with Beckman (9-1, 4-1) and Marina (9-1, 4-1).
In the Omicron League:
Woodbridge 50, Buena Park 18: Caden Jones threw five touchdowns and Aydrien Garnica caught three scores as the visiting Warriors (4-6, 3-2) cruised at Buena Park (4-6, 2-3) in a game for third place and the final automatic playoff berth in league.
Jones completed 16 of 21 passes for 277 yards and Garnica had nine catches for 131 yards.
Moises Keith-Chavez returned a punt 55 yards for a score for Woodbridge.
The Warriors scored at least 50 points for the second time in the past three games.
In the Tango League:
Anaheim 34, La Quinta 28: The Colonists (8-2, 5-0) held off the Aztecs (7-3, 2-3) at Bolsa Grande High to capture the outright league title.
