SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Look out, San Francisco. If you think you look like, or have been told you resemble, actor Dev Patel, you could win a cash prize.
A QR code flyer circulating on social media directs you to a website for a Dev Patel look-alike competition being held at the Dolores Park statue on Nov. 10, starting at 1 p.m. The event’s organizers boast a $50 cash prize for the winner.
Patel is known for starring in hit films such as Slumdog Millionaire and more recently Monkey Man, which he also directed.
A recent look-alike contest for actor Timothée Chalamet in New York City drew thousands of contestants and spectators, including the actor himself.
As of this writing, 102 people have marked the invite as “Going.”
