(BCN) — A Novato man was arrested on suspicion of child sex crimes Tuesday, according to police.
According to police, the family of a 12-year-old who was involved with a 20-year-old man contacted them and identified Novato resident Kevin Danilo Sajche-Tecum as the suspect.
Investigators allege that Sajche-Tecum contacted the child on social media and initiated a relationship that culminated in a sexual assault at a local park.
On Tuesday just before 4 p.m., detectives went to Sajche-Tacum’s residence on Green Oak Drive and arrested him on suspicion of lewd acts with a child under the age of 14, soliciting a minor with the intent to commit sexual acts, possession of child pornography, sexual battery and violation of probation.

Officers said they searched Sajche-Tacum’s phone and allegedly found child sex abuse material.
According to jail records, Sajche-Tacum is a landscaper. He is currently in custody with a bail amount of $100,000.
