(BCN) — A traffic collision left a pedestrian dead early Thursday morning on Highway 4 near Brentwood, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said that around 5:50 a.m., officers were alerted to a report that someone ran in front of a vehicle and got hit by it on the highway near Walnut Boulevard.
Lanes of the highway were closed between Vasco Road and Walnut Boulevard due to the fatal collision.
No further details about the collision were immediately available.
