Dak Prescott stressed several times that he’s blessed to have the resources to build a new home.
But he also made it clear he’s not pleased with the attention.
Videos of the quarterback’s 8,800-square foot home being torn to make way for a new one spread on social media. Prescott was caught off guard when asked about it after a recent practice.
“Rebuild what,” he responded. “I thought we were talking football.’’
Prescott purchased the home on seven acres in Prosper back in 2019. He was single then. Now, he lives with Sarah Jane Ramos and their daughter, MJ, who was born earlier this year.

The Cowboys made Prescott the highest paid player in NFL history on the eve of the opener with a four-year, $240 million extension.
“I didn’t build that house,” Prescott said when asked if it was strange to watch the structure come down.
“No, excited for new beginnings. I think a lot of times people are scared of change. Whether you’re changing something big or small, for you to create new beginnings, sometimes you’ve got to do that.
“I’m super excited, blessed that I’m in a position to do so. It’s crazy the coverage it got, just being frank. Trying to keep my personal life my personal life, build a home or a place or have a property that I’m about to raise a daughter and a family there, I truly don’t appreciate the drones, the extra videos and honestly, the conversation of it. I’m super blessed to be able to at this point build want I want.
“Enough said.”
