A workout studio is offering free classes at its six locations in Los Angeles County in honor of World Mental Health Day.
Training Mate is a high-intensity interval training studio located in Culver City, Glendale, Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Studio City and West Hollywood.
“Training Mate focuses on more than just physical fitness. With a strong emphasis on mental and social health, the Aussie-founded brand is all about building emotional well-being through supportive, energetic workouts,” a news release said.
Residents who want to take advantage of the offer can go to the Training Mate website, create an account and look at their class schedule.
Training Mate was founded by Luke Milton, a celebrity trainer and former professional rugby player in Australia, in 2013. Milton has also been featured on “Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian.”
Milton is also expected to host classes this Saturday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon at Training Mate’s Studio City location.
World Mental Health Day, which occurs on Oct. 10 annually, is a global initiative that raises awareness about mental health issues and reduces stigma around the topic.
