(KRON) — Video captured by a KRON4 anchor showed a car that had apparently smashed through a fence and gone into a swimming pool Thursday. In the video, the car can be seen resting at the bottom of the pool, which appears to be in the backyard of a residence.
Up above the pool, the fence is clearly broken where the car crashed through from a parking lot above. A tow truck was on the scene and first responders can be seen along with two truck personnel at the side of the pool.
According to the Tiburon Police Department, the driver of the vehicle drove it into the pool. The driver was not injured in the crash and their head wasn’t submerged.
There was no immediate word on how the driver ended up driving into the pool. KRON4 has a crew headed to the scene.
