Police are asking the public for help Monday in their search for an 87-year-old woman who vanished from her care facility in the Westside region of Los Angeles over the weekend.
Christine Smith was last seen Sunday at the facility on the 10900 block of Washington Boulevard in Culver City.
“Christine suffers from dementia and is believed to have walked away from the facility on foot,” the Culver City Police Department posted in a news alert.
Smith was described as a Black woman standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 110 pounds with black eyes and short gray hair.
She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans and a hat, and was carrying a walking cane, police said.
Anyone with information regarding Smith’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Culver City Police Department at 310-253-6202.
