In what closely resembles a scene from a 1980s movie or a beef jerky commercial, new footage purportedly of Bigfoot has racked up millions of views on social media.
The video was recorded in the Parallel Forest in Lawton, Oklahoma, on Sept. 27.
“Scariest moment of my life, and I really think I caught a [expletive] Bigfoot on camera in Parallel Forest,” said Emmanuel Alfaro, who recorded the footage and posted it to TikTok.
Alfaro’s video is just ten seconds long and, unlike most other purported Bigfoot footage, is relatively clear. The creature, or person in a costume, appears to sniff or munch on some leaves and then starts to look around before the video ends.
“I was just doing some sightseeing and enjoying the day when I saw something in the distance. I’m still shaking as I type this,” Alfaro said.
Alfaro was asked if he was involved in a stunt or if he was aware of one, and he responded, “No clue if it was a stunt; I just got the [expletive] outta there as quick as I could. I thought I was the only one out there there’s one parking lot and my car was the only one there.”

According to Only in Oklahoma and Thrillist, the Parallel Forest has a reputation for being haunted.
While some believe Alfaro’s footage is genuine, many who commented on the viral video are skeptical.
One person wrote, “Google ‘Jack Links Costume Horror Dome,’” referring to a popular costume that retails for $179.99 online.
Another saying, “Bro that’s the Jack Links costume.”
The existence of Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, remains the subject of debate. There is currently no definitive scientific evidence supporting the creature’s existence.
But there are plenty who take Bigfoot seriously and dedicate their lives to proving its existence. Communities of researchers exist across the country, with members calling themselves “squatchers.”
