(KRON) — A 19-year-old accused of manufacturing firearms was arrested after a search warrant was served at a Windsor residence on Tuesday, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
The Santa Rosa PD Narcotics and Downtown Enforcement teams, along with the Windsor Police Department, served a search warrant at a residence on the 8000 block of Canyon Oak Drive at around 3 p.m. In the search, police located several firearms, gun components and items related to manufacturing ghost guns, SRPD said.
Hallucinogenic drugs were also found in a bedroom, according to police.
Jason Chester, 19, of Windsor, was identified by SRPD as the suspect who possessed the items. Chester was arrested for possession of a short barreled rifle, manufacturing an assault weapon, possession of an assault weapon, possession of an unserialized firearm and possession of a narcotic controlled substance.
