(KRON) — Fire and police units responded to a structure fire in Redwood City Tuesday afternoon, according to an alert. The Redwood City Police Department and Redwood City Fire Department were both on the scene of the blaze, which is burning in the 300 block of Poplar Avenue.
Officials are advising people to avoid the area. There was no immediate word on whether anyone had been injured or displaced. There are several apartment buildings in the area where the fire is burning.
Video posted to the Citizen app appeared to show a structure with its roof engulfed in flames.
