237 in Sunnyvale shut down due to collision involving motorcycle and pickup truck

(KRON) — All eastbound lanes on Highway 237 in Sunnyvale were shut down Monday afternoon due to a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The motorcyclist was found laying in the slow lane, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

The collision, which involved a white pickup truck, occurred around 1:10 p.m. All eastbound lanes have been blocked on Highway 237 at N. Mathilda Avenue. Motorists are advised to expect delays, use alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.

There is no estimated time for the roadway to reopen.
