(KRON) — A Wells Fargo sign is in danger of falling onto a Mission District Street Sunday evening, the San Francisco Fire Department posted on social media. The sign above the bank located at Mission and 22nd streets has “the potential to fall onto the sidewalk/street.”
The public is asked to avoid the area at this time as the loose sign is an “isolated hazard,” according to SFFD. Currently, the intersection of Mission Street at 22nd, including the sidewalk, is closed.
“Business/property representatives along with city services are on the scene mitigating this,” SFFD wrote on X.
