(KRON) – Sprouts Farmers Market is opening another location in the Bay Area. The city of Hayward will have a new location that is set to open on Friday, Sept. 27.
Per Sprouts’ Instagram, it is an organic grocery store that “delights in the goodness of fresh, healthy foods and good-for-you supplements.”
The store will kick off the first day of operation with a grand opening weekend, which is set to last all weekend. A ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 6:45 a.m. on Friday and doors will open 15 minutes later.
On Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28, the first 100 in-store shoppers receive a free reusable bag filled with samples. Only on Friday, the first 400 customers will receive a free long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral.
All three days will have a pop-up party with a “Guess the Weight” contest and a scavenger hunt.
The grocery store will located at 26207 Mission Blvd.
The city of Hayward recently welcomed California staple burger chain In-N-Out and popular chicken spot Raising Canes in August.
