SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Police activity has shut off the southwest entrance of the 16th Street Mission BART entrance on Friday evening, according to BART.
The northeast entrance of the BART station remains open. BART posted about the closure on X at 7:42 p.m.

It has been a newsworthy day for BART across the Bay Area. SFPD officers shot an armed man at the Powell Street station in the morning, which shut down the station for hours. In the East Bay, a fiber cable issue disrupted green line service and temporarily closed the Hayward and Daly City stations.
