(KRON) — The Oakland Police Department released photos on Wednesday of a person and vehicle linked to a homicide that happened in June. OPD is requesting the public’s help with tracking down the person pictured.
The shooting happened on June 23 on the 900 block of 44th Street just after 6:15 p.m. Two gunshot victims showed up at a hospital, one of which died, police said.

OPD said the associated car is a navy blue Mercedes Benz SUV. The person believed to be involved was wearing a white shirt and sneakers.
Anyone who recognizes the person, has seen the car, or has other information about the shooting is asked to call OPD at (510) 238-3821.
