SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Woody Johnson, the New York Jets owner, was recently interviewed by Fox News host Jesse Watters and took a subtle jab at the City of the Bay.
Watters inquired about the health of quarterback Aaron Rogers and the upcoming game against the San Francisco 49ers. Johnson answered, “The team is complete. We’re ready to go. You know, we got a great camp, and we’re going to head out to San Francisco.”
Johnson continued, “It’s a good reason to go to San Francisco now.” Johnson referred to repetitive remarks on Watters’ show, “You’ve been talking about it on your show.”
After Johnson made that remark, the host said, “Clean up and be safe. All right, that’s all we want.”
The bulk of the interview was regarding the duo believing Kamala Harris was not “of the people.” Johnson also discussed his reasoning for the importance of inexpensive energy.
Johnson served as the 66th United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom under former President Donald Trump.
