Re “Kamala walks back yet another bad idea” (Sept. 8):
If memory serves me, Joe Biden ran as a one term, centrist candidate that wanted to bring a fractured country back together.
How did that turn out?
Joe Biden flipped as far left as a split Congress allowed. Then again, I think Obama, Chuck Schumer and Pelosi were the real influence on policy.
Kamala Harris, if elected, will go full throttle on leftist policy.

Not buying it
The SCNG editorial board keeps saying that Kamala Harris is “walking back” her hard left positions in the last few weeks, as if that is a positive development.
But do they really believe that if she were to win that she would not march ahead with the agenda she has been espousing for years?
It seems obvious that Harris is only reversing her long held positions until the coast is clear. Remember that she was rated the most extreme left of all 100 United States Senators, even farther than self described “democratic socialist” Bernie Sanders.
Don’t be fooled!
