A 26-year-old man was shot and killed in an Anaheim neighborhood Monday night, Aug. 12, and police were searching for the shooter, authorities said.
Anaheim police were called to the 900 block of North Siesta Street about 9:30 p.m. and found the man unresponsive in front of a home, Sgt. Matt Sutter said.
Christopher Monge was shot multiple times, Sutter said. First responders attempted to aid Monge before taking him to a hospital, where he died.
A member of Monge’s family had called 911 to report the shooting, Sutter said, but it wasn’t known yet if Monge lived at the home where he was found.
