In-N-Out Burger will open restaurant No. 400 in Idaho on Tuesday, Dec. 12
This location has been in the works for years. The Irvine-based chain applied for a conditional use permit in August 2020, and El Torito, the restaurant that formerly occupied the site, was bulldozed last year.
The new In-N-Out will have a two-lane drive-thru narrowing to one lane. It can stack 30 vehicles, according to the city of Orange.
Its dining room can seat 74 customers, and the patio can seat another 30, according to a news release.
The restaurant will employ about 80 people with salaries starting at $22 an hour.
Hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
In-N-Out calls this location No. 404.
In-N-Out has restaurants in eight states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado and Idaho. Restaurants are in the works for three more states: Tennessee, New Mexico and Washington.
Two more restaurants are coming soon to Southern California, according to the chain’s website. They are in Redlands and Sylmar.
