At long last, South County has a new place to go for some choice noodles and dumplings. Long’s Noodles brought its xiao long bao, fried dumplings and hand-pulled noodles to San Clemente in early July.
Menu highlights include handmade xiao long bao (soup dumplings) in pork, spicy pork, and shrimp and pork iterations; fried pork and shrimp buns; vegetable, pork, shrimp and leek dumplings, beef and vegetable rolls, shrimp shumai; and fried wontons.
Noodle dishes such as braised beef noodle soup, braised pork intestine, beef brisket with tomato, pork rib, pickled bean, and mushroom appear on the menu. Long’s Noodles also offers wonton soups in shrimp, pork, beef or chicken varieties.

Stir-fried noodles include shrimp, chicken, beef and vegetable. And seaweed salad, scallion pancakes, rice cakes, cucumber salad, braised pig’s ear and sesame balls can be found on the starters menu.

Long’s Noodles, which moved into the former Pick Up Stix space, offers ample room with five tables and two bar seating areas — an L-shaped bar seating 10 and a smaller one that seats four. The new venue joins other eateries like Rico’s Mexican Food and Burger Joint found inside the same shopping plaza located just off the 5 Freeway.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
