It’s going to be hot throughout Southern California and it’s also National Hot Dog Day.

Three Southern California chains have announced the following promotions.
Dog Haus: The Pasadena-based chain is offering its rewards members a free Haus Dog at participating locations on July 17. There are half a dozen dogs to choose from, including a couple with chili. To participate, guests must join by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. doghaus.com

Hot Dog on a Stick: The chain that was founded near Muscle Beach is offering a one-day secret menu item on July 17. It’s called the Charlie, a beef or turkey dog placed inside a Cheese on a Stick. The chain also has a pet-friendly promotion going through Aug. 11. It’s a partnership with Milk-Bone. Customers get a free bandana and bag of Milk-Bone Minies with a $20 purchase. Wienerschnitzel: Predictably, the Newport Beach-based chain has a deal on its signature Original Chili Dogs. It’s selling four for $4. The offer is good in-store only for sales in multiples of four with no substitutions. wienerschnitzel.com
