A driver suspected of hit-and-run was arrested in Garden Grove on Sunday, July 7, on suspicion of striking and injuring a group of cyclists, including three children, authorities said.
Two adults and three kids were riding bicycles in the area near Haster Street and Twintree Lane around 7:30 p.m. when they were all struck by a vehicle, according to Garden Grove Police Sgt. Nick Jensen. It was not immediately clear whether they were crossing the road.
All five victims were taken to a hospital, with two kids and one adult in critical condition, said Jensen.
The driver fled and was later arrested, Jensen said. Information on the driver was not available Sunday evening.
