Pete the Cat’s story: Pete can be shy and cautious at first, but he’s a huge love bug once he gets to know you. He’d prefer a cat-only home, since he isn’t comfortable around dogs. He’d also do best in a quiet home, since loud noises can spook him. He likes to be near people, and if it’s allowed, he would love to be a lap cat – or, better, a chest cat if you’re lying down. When he’s not trying to get pets, he likes to lounge in high spots. He’s pretty excited by wet food and perks up the minute he hears a can opening. Pete is looking for a patient, loving family to share his love.
Adoption cost: $225, includes FVRCP vaccines, FIV/FelV test, microchip, and worm and flea treatments
