A 38-year-old man was shot and killed in the parking lot of an Anaheim liquor store in what police believe was a gang-related attack Friday night, May 24, authorities said.
Anaheim officers were called to the 900 block of South Anaheim Boulevard at 7 p.m. on a report of a shooting and found the victim, identified as Jesse Barragan of Anaheim, unresponsive with at least one gunshot wound, Sgt. Jon McClintock said.
Barragan died at the scene, McClintock said.
The suspect fled before officers arrived.
