Kayden Connaty, Garden Grove, Sr.
Connaty went 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBIs, and struck out 12, in a 12-6 win against Barstow in a Division 5 first round game.
Addy Day, Capistrano Valley, Jr.
The right fielder hit a two-run, walk-off home run to center to give the Cougars a 4-2 win against Marina in a Division 1 wild card game.
Sophia Gutierrez, Los Amigos, Fr.
Gutierrez pitched a no-hitter with seven strikeouts and also had a hit and stolen base in a 1-0 win against St. Genevieve in a Division 7 first round game.
Tea Gutierrez, Huntington Beach, Jr.
The first baseman went 2 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs in an 8-7 win against Roosevelt in a Division 1 wild card game.
Cat Kawabe, Mater Dei, Sr.
The Tuffs-bound second baseman went 3 for 3 with home run and two RBIs in a 5-4 win against Millikan in a Division 2 first round game.
Abby Lee, Fullerton, Jr.
The first baseman went 2 for 3 with two doubles and three RBIs to help the Indians defeat Hart 4-3 in a Division 3 first round game. She doubled in a run with two outs in the eighth inning for a walk-off hit.
Bobbie Lozano, Whittier Christian, Jr.
Lozano scattered five hits and allowed two runs in a 3-2 victory against Mission Viejo in a Division 2 first round game.
Savannah Maier, Capistrano Valley Christian, Jr.
Maier went 3 for 3 with a double, home run and six RBIs in a 12-6 win against Sierra Vista in a Division 6 first round game.
Daniela Perez, Oxford Academy, Fr.
Perez went 3 for 5 with four RBIs and two stolen bases in a 19-4 win against Notre Dame of Riverside in a Division 7 first round game.
Scarlett Poitra, Orange, Fr.
The freshman allowed one run on four hits and struck out 10 in a 22-1 win at Mesa Grande Academy in a Division 8 first round game.
