Breed: Tortoiseshell
Age: 3 years
Sex: Spayed female
Penelope’s story: Penelope is a healthy girl who no longer has to worry about being a mom. She and her four kittens were found, abandoned, in a crate in an alley. Although in a terrible situation, Penelope took good care of her offspring, along with a blind, singleton orphan who was given to her after she and her kittens were rescued. The five kittens have been adopted, and Penelope is patiently awaiting her turn. This sweet, kind and gentle girl gets along with other cats, but would be perfectly at home as an only cat. She is spayed and vaccinated and would be wonderful addition to a young family.
Adoption cost: A $100 donation to defray veterinary expenses is suggested.
Adoption procedure: Contact Joanne with Long Beach Spay and Neuter Foundation at adoptions@lbsn.org or 562-241-1521 to receive an adoption application and schedule an appointment to meet Penelope.
