Paramount woman identified as passenger killed in suspected Santa Ana DUI crash

Authorities Monday released the name of a woman killed in a suspected DUI crash in Santa Ana.

The victim was identified as 27-year-old Jocelyn Janet Campos of Paramount, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Campos was a passenger killed in the solo-vehicle crash of a pickup truck that occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday near 800 S. Main St., Santa Ana Police said.

The driver of the pickup, 39-year-old Enrique Murillo from Paramount, and another male passenger,  were taken to an area hospital and were expected to survive, police said.

Murillo was going south on Main when he lost control, slammed into a palm tree and then rammed into a pole, police said. Police booked the driver on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter.
