Chesapeake’s story: A Lovebugs foster who adores the silver sweeties scooped Chesapeake up from a shelter. Chesapeake immediately made himself at home, fitting right into life with the foster and her other dogs. Much as he likes other dogs, Chesapeake is no fan of cats. He’s well-mannered around the house, rides well in the car and is pretty low-key. He would prefer a home that is on the more mellow side, with not a ton of comings and goings. Chesapeake loves to give kisses and is pretty social with new people he meets after a tiny warmup. He would benefit from a little one-on-one leash work around other dogs and super-exciting things. He’s super food-motivated and will happily take chicken or cheese as a special treat. He’s going to make a wonderful addition for a family looking for a salt and pepper sweetie. Could that be you?
