Sage Hill’s girls basketball program celebrated another milestone Tuesday.
The Lightning recognized college-bound seniors Emily Eadie, Kat Righeimer, Annabelle Spotts and Aurora Elder in advance of National Signing Day on Wednesday.
Eadie, a first-team All-County forward in the winter, is headed to Princeton, which qualified for the NCAA tournament this season.
Righeimer, a third-team All-County forward, is bound for Northwestern.
Spotts, a second-team All-County forward, is committed to Division III University of Chicago.
Elder, a center/forward, signed with Idaho State on Wednesday, Sage Hill coach Kerwin Walters said. Idaho State reached the Big Sky Conference tournament this season.
Sage Hill’s foursome comprises the most decorated signing class in school history.
“It is an amazing accomplishment for these young ladies,” Walters said. “They all have worked extremely hard to get where they are going and it is well deserved. We have been so blessed to have all of them at Sage Hill.
“They have left a legacy for future players to strive to maintain.”
This past season, the seniors helped Sage Hill defend the Pacific Coast League title and reach the Open Division in the CIF-SS and regional playoffs.
Eadie, Righeimer and Spotts were key players on the Lightning’s state championship team in 2022. All three rose the ranks as youth players on Kobe Bryant’s Mambas travel team.
