Benji’s story: This tiny tot is a loving, trusting, friendly boy. He had to be shaved before emergency surgery to repair a broken jaw, but his hair is growing in and he is ready to love and be loved. He is happy to stay in his crate when home along. He’s a low-energy dog who likes hanging out with his people best. He’s leery of bigger dogs. He loves to be the center of attention and would do best in a home with humans 12 years and older. Benji sleeps in a bed next to his foster mom while she works from home and has a big smile for her whenever he sees her. Benji hasn’t learned to love walks yet, so he needs a big yard for exercise and doing his business. Benji doesn’t shed; he’ll need regular grooming once all of his cottony hair grows back. A foster or adopter would be wonderful for him.
