The Ryan Lemmon Spring Tournament games scheduled for Saturday have been postponed, in anticipation of coming rain, the baseball tournament’s organizers said.
Saturday would have been the first day of the 36-team tournament. It features several teams in the Orange County top 25 including No. 5 San Juan Hills (which is No. 1 in the CIF-SS Division 4 top 10), No. 8 Los Alamitos, No. 11 Aliso Niguel, No. 12 El Modena, No. 14 Pacifica, No. 16 Foothill, No. 21 Canyon, No. 22 Marina and No. 24 San Clemente.
The tournament is scheduled to also run Monday through Wednesday of next week. It is a fundraiser for the Ryan Lemmon Foundation that supports youth sports. Rainy weather is forecast to conclude Sunday.
