Dodgers rout Kiwoom Heroes in Seoul exhibition game

THE GAME: Freddie Freeman had a home run and a double among his three hits and Jason Heyward drove in four runs as the Dodgers beat the Kiwoom Heroes, 14-3, in an exhibition game on Sunday afternoon (Saturday night PT) at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea.

HITTING REPORT: Freeman was 3 for 5. … Heyward drove in two runs with a double and a sacrifice fly then two more with a second double. He finished 3 for 5 as well. … James Outman was on base three times with two singles and a walk and scored two runs. … Gavin Lux drove in two runs with a single and a double. … Chris Taylor had a pair of RBI singles.

PITCHING REPORT: Right-hander Michael Grove started the game and retired all six batters he faced, four on strikeouts. … Left-hander Alex Vesia struck out two and allowed a single in his inning. … Right-hander Ryan Brasier gave up a run on two hits in his inning, raising his spring ERA to 9.00. … Daniel Hudson and Joe Kelly each threw a hitless inning with one strikeout. … Evan Phillips couldn’t get through his inning.
