(KRON) — Eleven arrests were made after a task force conducted a retail theft operation at a Target in San Jose, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office (SCCSO) announced Sunday. Authorities said suspects stole from the store on N. Capitol Avenue on Thursday.
More than $2,000 of stolen items were recovered, according to SCCSO. That included clothing, food, beer, alcohol, drones, pepper spray, Stanley tumblers, backpacks, hygiene products and a soccer ball (pictured below).
Retail theft will not be tolerated,” SCCSO wrote on social media. “Stay vigilant and report suspicious activity. Together, we can make a difference!”
A similar theft at the same Target occurred last November. A total of 12 people were arrested in that theft.
