(KRON) – Body armor and drugs were found in a drunk driver’s vehicle, said the American Canyon Police Department.
At 2 p.m. on Monday, American Canyon police officers pulled over a gold Honda Accord for lack of registration on Highway 29 near Eucalyptus Drive.
Police said the driver, later identified as 51-year-old Vallejo resident Timothy De Los Reyes Jr., was unlicensed to drive and on probation with Solano County. A probation search was conducted of the Honda and police found body armor, a loaded 9mm firearm magazine and quantities of suspected methamphetamine.

De Los Reyes, according to police, also exhibited signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
De Los Reyes was arrested and booked into Napa County Jail for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, possession of a controlled substance for sale and other related offenses, said ACPD.
