(BCN) –The San Francisco Half-Marathon and 5k Race is underway Sunday morning, and street closures and Muni re-routes due to the race are expected to stay in place until around noon, transit officials said.
Due to the race event, there are street closures and reroutes to Muni routes that operate in and near Golden Gate Park. The race takes place starting in Golden Gate Park, from JFK Drive near Stow Lake, through the Park, Panhandle and Great Highway.
At various times, the 18 46th Avenue, 33 Ashbury/18th St., 43 Masonic and 44 O’Shaughnessy routes will be rerouted around the event.
