SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — An injury crash on the westbound lanes of the San Francisco Bay Bridge Monday is blocking lanes and causing delays, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred west of Treasure Island Road and is blocking the left and center lanes.
The CHP is advising drivers to expect delays, use alternate routes and avoid the area. There was no immediate word on how many vehicles were involved or how many people were injured.
As of 12:35 p.m., the CHP said there is no estimated time for reopening the roadway. A severe traffic alert has been issued.
