(KRON) — A preliminary 4.2 magnitude earthquake shook in the East Bay Monday evening, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake’s epicenter is located in Dublin.
Minutes later, the earthquake’s magnitude was updated to 4.0. The epicenter is located about a half mile northwest of Schaefer Ranch Park on Dublin Boulevard.
The time of the quake was 7:46 p.m., according to USGS. It was felt in Martinez, Concord, Oakland and San Francisco.
