(KRON) — A United flight from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) heading to Chicago was diverted early Monday morning due to an unruly passenger, the airline said. United flight 1494 landed in Denver at 2:17 a.m. after the passenger became “disruptive and aggressive” with a flight attendant on board.
Upon arrival in Denver, the passenger was removed from the aircraft and was met with law enforcement at the gate, according to United. Flight 1494 then proceeded with a scheduled 5:30 a.m. departure but was delayed for about 4 hours and 43 minutes.
United flight 1494 departed from Denver at 7:20 a.m. and arrived at its intended destination in Chicago at 10:14 a.m. local time.
United did not provide any further information. The airline did not report any injuries from this incident.
