(KRON) – A Moraga brewery that aims to be a “third space” is opening a new location that is also in the East Bay. Canyon Club Brewery is set to debut its secondary location in Danville.
With the goal of being a third space, Canyon Club Brewery owner Kevin Hamilton told KRON4.com that the brewery is a family-friendly, dog-friendly, outdoor beer garden and has a full restaurant.
A third space is defined as a location that is neither one’s home nor workplace and provides a space for relaxation or recreation.
Traditional German beers are the Canyon Club’s best sellers along with IPAs and Kölschs. For smoked beer lovers, the brewery also makes a smoked lager as well.
Hamilton, who is from Massachusetts, said the fish and chips dish is as “just good as any on the East Coast.” Per the eatery, its fried chicken sandwich is a patron favorite.
The opening date of the Danville location is yet to be determined but the eatery is anticipating debuting in the first quarter of the year.
