LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – Amid the historic devastation and loss of the Palisades and Eaton wildfires, an unbreakable sense of community has emerged.
Across Los Angeles County, volunteers and businesses have mobilized to support fire victims, evacuees and the brave first responders who have put their lives on the line to prevent further loss. The Palisades Fire has destroyed an estimated 10,000 structures and charred over 23,000 acres in Pacific Palisades, Malibu and elsewhere in the Santa Monica Mountains. The Eaton Fire leveled an estimated 7,000 structures in Altadena and Pasadena.
