A 21-year-old Los Angeles County woman who had been missing since Christmas Day has been found, authorities announced Thursday.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Sara Powell disappeared near the 15700 block of Fellowship Street in the city of Valinda on Dec. 25, with a possible destination of Baldwin Park.
Authorities at the time stressed that Powell required medication and that her family was concerned for her well-being.
The Sheriff’s Department did not provide any information about when Powell was found or her condition at the time but did thank those who helped look for her.
“Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Ms. Powell,” the Sheriff’s Department stated Thursday.
