A man who “exposed himself” at a cafe on the UCLA campus has been arrested and identified as a registered sex offender.
The UCLA Police Department took to social media to alert the community of the arrest; while not many details were released, the department confirmed the incident took place on Friday at Kerckhoff Coffee House.
“Following the investigation, it was determined the suspect is a registered sex offender with the Santa Monica Police Department,” UCLA police said.
The identity of the man was not disclosed.
The cafe is located inside Kerckhoff Hall, which is located in the heart of campus. Kerckhoff Hall also contains study lounges and student organization offices and has served as the university’s student union building since 1931.
